Requirements & Licensing
Before deploying the container, ensure your environment meets the following hardware and licensing requirements.
🔑 Hytale License
Because Hytale requires a valid license to access server binaries, this container does not come pre-packaged with the game files.
💻 System Requirements
1. Supported Operating Systems
- Linux: (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, etc.) — Debian recommended for production.
- Windows: 10/11 with WSL 2.

2. Hardware Architecture
The Docker image is built for 64-bit environments. 32-bit systems are not supported.
- x86_64: Standard Intel or AMD processors.
- ARM64: Coming soon! more info
3. Software
- Docker Engine (Linux) CLI or Docker Desktop (Windows, macOS or Linux) GUI.
- Docker Compose (Recommended for server installation).
4. Other
- Storage Requirement: Minimum 6GB free space required for hytale server installation.
